P.S. I Love You

Another great movie I recently saw was P.S. I Love You starring Hillary Swank & Gerard Butler. I absolutely adored their small yet gorgeous New York apartment. I always love to see the houses and apartments used in movies and the way they have been decorated. In this movie I particularly loved the brick walls which were painted white and then rubbed back to give an aged appearance...so gorgeous and I just loved her mismatch of furniture and accessories. She also dressed in some fabulous outfits. It is a tear jurker so do be prepared with a big box of tissues...definitely a good one to watch at home!!

Good Morning Anna,

As I was coming to work this morning, I was reading the Metro magazine which is widely distributed in New York Subways, I come across your website in the best blog section and I was surprised and happy to see it, since I check your blog almost everyday.

Congratulations and thanks for sharing your beautiful projects & inspirations with us.

I loved that movie, too! I just couldn't figure out why, at the beginning of the movie, she wanted to leave that apartment and buy a house...

I tried to watch this movie but did not like it at all! I am from New York and the apartment they had was NOT small by NY standards! It was pretty huge actually. And the area where they live it's not cheap either!I just got so mad when they talked in the movie about "living in his small apartment" when I would kill to have a space like this!
grrrr

I loved the Irish countryside and the shoes at the end need to be on my feet.

ok, confessions. did not love the movie (at all.) but I agree that ms. swank's apartment is totally well, swank. I wish there were a place where movie stills of interior shots went to live. I would be there often!

Wasn't that a great movie! Such a comfy and shabby chic small apartment, and the shoooes. Basically, I drank in all the amazing inspirational style. Kuddos to all the design teams& crew behind the film. Oh and Gerry:) his cute accent and great bod. I couldn't help shedding some tears..coz of the letter scenes.
