The One That Got Away!

Look at the fabulous lady portrait (top) which I missed out on today on Ebay! I think I have a major problem as I keep on forgetting to bid for things. I think I need to start using bidder assist!! I'm so disappointed and angry at myself!! On another note, Leigh from Found Now Home emailed me this gorgeous picture of her portrait wall the other day - how gorgeous is this!!! Looks like she has been collecting lady portraits for a while now!! Thanks Leigh for this fantastic image - very inspiring!!

that is so fun.. people have the most interesting collections and I love seeing what other people collect. My collection (of ribbons) is getting a bit scary. :)

try esnipe.com - i use it ALL the time! it keeps you from getting caught up in the moment and bidding more than you want, and it also solves that "i forgot to bid" problem.

Love seeing this, it makes you think to yourself, hmmm...where are those family portraits? And the next thing you know, you're pulling things out of closets!!

Anna,
Do you think you might get another stroke of luck and it appears re-listed again like your figurine?
I'II keep my fingers crossed for you. Gorgeous lady photowall, how unique.

I love vintage portraits. It's so sad to find them in Goodwill shops...why would families give them away? I buy them and then I give them names and pretend they are part of my family. My kids think I'm nuts...oh, but I love the quality of the art! (weird huh?)

Great painting. I really should start a portrait wall. I have a vintage print with cows room (my office) and a hallway with family B&Ws framed in gold (more or less) frames so far. Now what room could I put up portraits?....

gorgeous portrait.
if you like something on ebay set a 'reminder' and ebay will email you. of course you have to remember to ck email, i always like a reminder when the bidding is nearing the end!

You can find anything you need on Ebay. But, I have the same problem I forget to bid!! Lol !! Love the Portraits. Had a great visit. I posted a painting of my grandmother when she was 18 years old on my blog. Stop by to see. Thanks Connie
